In an underground car park, in a rented flat without a wash bay or simply between two hand washes: a waterless car wash brings back the shine without a hose or bucket. To do it without scratches, the right technique and realistic expectations are what count.
When does a waterless wash make sense?
- For light soiling: dust, pollen, fingerprints, light water spots.
- Between two regular washes, to refresh the shine.
- In a garage, showroom or on the road, where a classic wash isn't possible.
It is not suitable for heavy dirt, sand, road-salt crusts or mud. These must be removed with water first – otherwise you rub the particles across the paint. For these cases, the classic hand wash with a bucket is the right way.
What you need
- 7WASH Wash & Wax Waterless – cleans, polishes and leaves a glossy protective layer in one step, without rinsing
- Several clean Premium microfibre cloths 40 × 40 cm – the more, the better
Step by step
- Check the dirt. If coarse dirt or sand is visible, pre-rinse with water first.
- Work in the shade. The surface should be cool.
- Shake the bottle and spray the product section by section onto a small area (about half a door panel).
- Wipe gently in one direction. Use a folded microfibre cloth and wipe in straight lines without pressure – no circles.
- Change the cloth side often. A folded cloth has eight sides. When one side is visibly dirty, switch to the next.
- Buff with a second, dry cloth for a streak-free finish.
- Work from top to bottom – do the lower, dirtiest areas last and with fresh cloths.
Tips for better results
- Never use a cloth that has fallen on the ground.
- Wash cloths after use without fabric softener.
- If you also want to care for plastics and protect the paint, you'll find Wash & Wax, 3D Protector and Hydro Slick combined in the 7WASH Care Set.
